Yesterday we set out heading to Nashville, Tennessee. It was a beautiful day, no rain, but a little windy.

We stopped for a long lunch about an hour from Memphis at a rest area. We were able to find a spot away from the trucks and enjoy a nice rest.

Next, we headed out to the Tennessee Welcome Center, in Memphis. We found Elvis there waiting for us and took a walk along the river.

We also rode by Graceland and got pictures of the gates and Elvis’ airplane, the Lisa Marie.

After leaving Memphis, we again headed toward Nashville. We found a beautiful campground back in the woods about an hour outside of Nashville, to spend the night. Piney River RV Resort, review post to follow.

Heading to Roanoke, Virginia today to spend a couple days of needed family time.
