Review – Rock’n E RV Park

Our stay in Livingston, Texas was so much fun. Spur of the moment we decided to stop for the night near Sam Houston National Forest.

We knew we wanted to be close to Lake Livingston so we search Campendium for a campground. We decided not to boondock our first night and are so glad we did.

Beautiful trees around all the campsites

When we pulled into the campground it was around 50% full. One whole section was empty. The staff member who helped us, Leon, was very friendly and helpful.

Registration and store

They had well maintained trails all around the campground, that were great for our bikes.

We were 4 miles from the lake, on our bikes that was nothing. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the lake.

Sunset ride

It costs $40 a night for full hook-ups, water sewer and electric.

If you are ever in the area be sure to check this one out.
