Our number 2 favorite adventure so far was Kemah, Texas. We went here about 2 years ago during off season, for my husband’s birthday.

Kemah is located just outside of Houston, Texas. The Boardwalk Inn is located right on the water. Each room has a balcony that overlooks the boardwalk and the water.

Since we were there during off season we were able to book a beautiful suite with 3 balconies, a living room, bedroom and 1 and a half bathrooms for a very reasonable price.

This location put us close enough to Houston that we were able to go to an Astros game, visit the Nasa space center, and also go to Galveston to the beach.

The board walk had an amusement park. It also an a large shopping area and many restraunts to choose from. In addition, it had a small aquarium that also had a restraunt where you could be surrounded by fish while you eat.

Most of the restaurants had outdoor dinning next to the water. Here you could watch the boats go in and out. The dolphins loved to follow the boats in and out.

We had an amazing time during our 4 days here in Kemah, Texas and have talked many times about going back here.
