Getting the right size camper for you!

Recently, I tried to book a site at one of the beautiful resorts near the beach in Corpus Christi, Texas. As I was researching this campground, thinking to myself. This is a lovely place with firepits and outdoor kitchen, each sit set up differently depending on the owner of the site.

I thought it was a beautiful place, that would be a five star relaxation weekend for us. As I reviewed their site to be sure it was something I wanted to book, I found out they have restrictions on the size and age of your RV.

Unfortunately, my camper is too small to be allowed to rent a spot at this campground. They only rent to the biggest and the best RV owners. I felt rejected by this but realized that it probably wasn’t somewhere I wanted to be anyway.

I then looked into this further and realized that there are many of these so-called Class A parks all over the USA. Also, I found out that if your RV is the size required for these parks, then you are most likely too large to park in most national forest campgrounds.

I would rather be the right size to go to the National Park, than large enough to spend a weekend in a high dollar resort such as this one.
